All this is accomplished while integrating with the operator’s Warehouse Management System, utilizing, and optimizing existing facility infrastructure.

Locus Robotics is seeking an IT Help Desk candidate who is detail-oriented, thorough, and organized to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to employees with computer systems, hardware, or software issues.


Job Description
  • Provide tier1/tier2 support for the day-to-day operations related to severs, networks, end-users, and requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory.
  • Assist in project implementations and testing to ensure operational reliability.
  • Troubleshooting common issues: Network, hardware, software, etc.
  • Manage end-user accounts for various services.
  • Deploy end-user devices, hardware, Servers, and Virtual Machines as needed.
  • Monitor network and server uptime in accordance with SLAs.
  • Maintain security and protect systems with latest Anti-virus solutions.
  • Backing up data and data restoration as needed.
  • Assist in developing and documenting IT procedures.
  • Gather/prep equipment to be delivered to end-users and customer sites.
  • Communicate with vendors to maintain supplies and RMA.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding requests

Qualifications
  • 2+ year experience in Help Desk or Systems Support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skillset.
  • Experience managing a hybrid Active Directory environment.
  • General networking knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Ubuntu operating systems.
  • Experience in supporting the following technology services: (Virtual) Hyper V, ESXI, (MDM)Intune and Apple Business Manager Zoom, (SAAS) Asana, Ring Central, Google Suite, Slack, Druva, Microsoft 365.
  • Communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Knowledge of ticketing system.
  • Ability to lift 25lb/12kg.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Network Support, CIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
