Your Opportunity:
This is an entrepreneurial role with significant scope to create value and provide future proof recommendations.
Lead the Market and Peer Intelligence team that performs the Asset Management analytics on a broad range of external and internal market and client data
Interpret results of the analyses, derive insights, participate in discussions and recommend actions
Handle regular as well as ad-hoc requests and reporting related to our market, product and competitor data
Collaborate and work closely with various stakeholders across Vontobel to align our client activities with product demand
Provide pro-active management advice to Senior Management
Lead the quarterly Market and Peer Intelligence update meetings
Take part in business projects related to Market Intelligence and Strategy topics (e.g. yearly business and strategy planning workshop)
Line manager of one additional Market and Peer Intelligence team member based in New York, USA
Requirements:
A strong academic background with a degree in business administration, finance or similar field
At least 10 years relevant experience in a similar role in asset management
A passion for market intelligence and the ability to transform data into meaningful insights
Strong presentation and communication skills to share the outputs of your analyses with broad audience
Ability to work independently, under pressure, against tight deadlines and to quickly adjust to changes in priorities
Very good knowledge of Morningstar data, knowledge of other market data is a plus (e.g. eVestment, Broadridge)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Power Point
Well-organized and motivated person that works independently, strives for operational excellence and can handle pressure
Strong communication skills with the ability to build excellent relationships with internal stakeholders
Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
